The TESS™ Security Server
The TriStrata protection solution is run via a centrally managed security server known as TESS ™. TESS serves as a mission control center for the delivery, access and management of an organization's most important data and intellectual property. TESS provides all necessary permissions under policy to access sensitive corporate information while maintaining a real-time audit trail of all security-related events.
In addition to TESS, TriStrata provides two important supporting software modules - a client module (TCM) where users can interact, create and communicate securely on their PCs and an entity module (TEM) such as web or data servers for the transmission and storage of important data.
Most important, a TESS security server never 'sees' confidential client information. TESS only verifies user credentials and manages the encryption/decryption requests, under your desired corporate authorizations and security policies.
The TESS security suite offers powerful and effective data protection, easily managed by your IT staff or by trusted third-party application and service providers.
TriStrata's Management System for Information Security
The TriStrata solution is a comprehensive "Management System" that assures information security.
With TriStrata deployed, a company can actively set and manage their diverse information security requirements throughout the organization. A single TESS server can handle the enrollment needs of up to 32,000 different organizations, all with their own individual teams and internal groupings. Each group can and will have varying security policies and membership, and each is separately managed from all other groups or organizations.
A TESS offers an extensive, hierarchical nature for the distribution of corporate security policies based on user needs. People can be enrolled into the system as members of defined groups, such as HR, sales, marketing, manufacturing and so forth. Information can be restricted (or opened) between one group and another, as well as the inclusion (or exclusion) of various members within these groups. A member of one group cannot access the secured information of another without proper authorizations and permissions.
The system is a "secure backbone" for the delivery of protected applications, no matter their size or scope. From restricted web site access, to personal desktop files - all can be encrypted and protected from unwanted exposure with TriStrata.
