TriStrata - A Comprehensive Approach
There are hundreds - if not thousands - of companies working on security tools, implementations, components or subsets that protect an enterprise and its electronic assets.
Most of these companies provide specific "building blocks" for protecting an organization, and include disparate components that secure the corporate perimeters (firewalls), pathways (VPNs, IPSec), unauthorized users (intrusion detection products), transmission and file protection (SSL, encryption products), user authentication with public key/private key certificates, biometrics, anti-viral software and more.
As a result of this specialization, the current security approach is usually one of complex assembly and high maintenance. Diverse hardware and software components must be acquired, installed and coerced to work together in harmony. IT security staffs and budgets continue to expand in order to manage this ever-growing assemblage of components and solutions.
While many of these tools are independently effective and bring incremental enhancements to security, the net result is a patchwork of non-related solutions that have yet to completely solve the true security and data protection needs of today's complex organizations. This is the important differentiation for TriStrata - our ability to analyze, sort, evaluate, assemble and then manage and deploy one comprehensive solution that can solve the security challenges at hand.
